Subject Committee: Europe

Many interests of the Association are shared with government and other authorities in Europe. ALGAO seeks to foster relationships and establish networks for the exchange of experience and knowledge on issues of common concern.

Issues for the Committee include:

• European Policy Directions: including the enlargement of the European Union and changes to the funding for projects such as Interreg.
• Funding opportunities:
• Training for members to assist them in developing projects
• Member projects: ensuring that member experience is shared to the benefit of all members.
